Ladies and gentlemen, today we are here to grieve for a dear friend that is close to all of us. Though the Lord has not yet taken her away from us, she is in dire need of assistance. She has helped all of us all at one time or another, but now is our time to help her. The friend I am speaking of is Mother Earth.
In this land of infinite abundance, it is our nature to take without worry of consequences. But now where there was infinite abundance, we are left with devastation. The world is dying, and we are doing nothing to stop it.
I am here today to discuss the follies of our ways. Pollution is a dilemma that faces everyone. What greater cause is there that can unite the world? It matters not if you are male or female, black or white the environment is everyones responsibility. Today I am here t

The thought of people spending their money to watch two people engage in barbaric fighting revolted me. How people could enjoy these savage exhibitions was beyond me. I had always thought of myself as beyond the appeal of physical violence, and, yet, here I was at the entrance of the bare knuckle, no rules, hardcore fight competition known as the Coliseum.
I had received the tickets by calling up a radio station. I had just called to request a song, and they told me that I was the lucky tenth caller. Unfortunately, the prize turned out to be stupid fighting tickets. I was considering not even attending, but since I so rarely win anything, I decided not to throw away my good fortune. I reasoned that it would give me a chance to see the types of people who actually enjoy this stuff. I would be like Jane Goodall. Plus, I had nothing to do, and the tickets were free.
